Their creative journey takes place on a family farm in Kansas, operating out of the very same childhood home where Ashley was born and raised. Surrounded by a close-knit family and a lively flock of farm animals, they find endless inspiration right outside their windows. Animals are far more than pets; they are the true stars and characters waiting to bring joy, comfort, and laughter to children everywhere.

How They Work Together
Their stories are a true family affair. As a team, the pair share a passion for creating art and storytelling, blending adult warmth with a child's pure, vivid imagination. They brainstorm wild adventures, sketch out characters, and bring every page to life side-by-side. Whether they are helping kids navigate big emotions in Adventures of Snuggs, embarking on a wild journey in Pirate Chickens Under Attackkkkk!!!, or helping teach self-love in Melody the French Frog, their goal is always to create books that bring families closer together.

When they aren’t writing or tending to the farm, you can find them showcasing their latest art at local literary events like the KC Book Beat, Kansas Authors Club, various craft and vendor events or plotting the next big story.
